I always wonder how a college football player would show off a Cheez-It Bowl championship ring with a straight face, but that’s a discussion for another time. Oklahoma State makes its way to Orlando after making a legitimate run at the Big 12 title before falling off late. Star running back Chuba Hubbard is out for the season, but LD Brown is a more than capable backup.
The last time we saw the Canes, they were getting obliterated 62-26 by North Carolina. Quarterback D’Eriq King converted 18-30 passes for 239 yards and two scores last time out, but he’s got to get help from a defense that gave up 778 yards of offense. Oklahoma State is 1-5 ATS in its last six games.
VALERO ALAMO BOWL ODDS
#20 Texas (6-3) at Colorado (4-1). 9:00 p.m. ET
Moneyline: Texas -400, Colorado +300
Spread: Texas -9
Over/Under: 63.5 points

The Longhorns and head coach Tom Herman get rewarded for their disappointing season by taking a bus 75 miles south to San Antonio for the Alamo Bowl. Will Texas be motivated? Linebacker Joseph Ossai will not play because he’s preparing for the NFL Draft, and he would have been the best player on the field.
The early money has poured in on the Buffs, driving this line down below double-digits. Colorado was an early surprise in the Pac-12 race before suffering a crushing 38-12 loss at home to Utah.
Texas is 7-1 in its last eight meetings with the Buffaloes, and Herman is 3-0 straight up in his last three bowl appearances.
