The 2020 Memorial Tournament Logo

Tiger Woods makes his return to the PGA Tour at the 2020 Memorial Tournament this weekend at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, and the sports world is at attention. BetRivers is proud to provide 2020 Memorial Tournament odds futures, markets and a wide variety of live betting options.

If you are looking for a trust worthy Sportsbook in Illinois, then BetRivers should be your first choice.

The return of Woods is not lost on the betting public, with well more than two times the wagers to win the 2020 Memorial Tournament on BetRivers.com than the second most popular bet, Brooks Koepka. While some bettors might be all-in on Woods being back, Woods finishing in the top 5 is the most popular bet. Just how much of a betting needle-mover is Tiger Woods?

At last year’s Masters, Woods carried 14 percent of the total handle, while Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy, arguably the two most popular golfers not named Tiger Woods, carried just three and six percent of the total handle.

Woods, who last competed in “The Match 2” exhibition with Phil Mickelson, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, has five victories at Muirfield Village. Woods enters this weekend +2500 to win the event, the same odds as red-hot Viktor Hovland and RBC Heritage winner Webb Simpson.

Woods is +500 to finish in the top 5, the same odds as Xander Schauffele and Koepka. Woods is currently +275 to finish top 10, +150 to finish top 20 and -200 to finish top 40.

Woods, who tees off at 1:17 p.m. ET on Thursday, is +3300 moneyline to hold the lead after Round 1.

2020 Memorial Tournament Odds: Betting Preview

With a bunch of heavy hitters in the 2020 Memorial Tournament field, this weekend’s PGA Tour event could go in a lot of different ways, and with over 250 different betting options, bettors have a ton to choose from.

Bryson DeChambeau (+1000) enters The Memorial having registered a top 10 finish in seven straight events. DeChambeau leads the PGA in average driving distance and ranks No. 2 in scoring average. Even though Tiger Woods is likely to steal a lot of the spotlight this week, bettors have made it clear that DeChambeau is worth the investment. In each of his past three tournaments, DeChambeau has ranked in the top 3 in total bets placed for.

Justin Thomas (+900) enters The Memorial as the slight moneyline favorite to win, having fallen just short last week, finishing second behind Collin Morikawa at the Workday Charity Open. Thomas has two PGA Tour wins under his belt this season, and has four top 10 finishes over his past six events. In fact, of the 13 events Thomas has competed in this season, he’s finished outside the top 10 just four times. He finished T17 at the Zozo Championship in October and missed the cut at Sony Open, Genesis Invitational and Travelers Championship.

Another strong outing at the Workday Open has Viktor Hovland (+2000) creeping closer and closer to his first-ever PGA Tour win. Hovland enter the Memorial with three straight top 20 finishes, and seems to do some of his best work in Round 1. Hovland is +3300 to hold the lead after Round 1.

Collin Morikawa (+2000) won his first-ever PGA Tour event last week, defeating Justin Thomas in a playoff to win the Workday Open. The 23-year-old was a popular bet in the first several events following the return from quarantine. But he didn’t make his mark until the action moved away from him. Morikawa was a huge winner for bettors last week, thanks to +5000 Round 1 lead. To read more about the bettor who won over $1 million on Morikawa, click here.
