We’ve been on fire! Another strong week brings us to 40-22-2 on the season.
Week 13 is the last week for many of us who play fantasy football. The great thing about betting on the game is that the fun doesn’t have to stop just because you drafted Christian McCaffrey.
NFL WEEK 13 ODDS: TUCK’S TAKE
Jaguars (1-10) at Vikings (5-6), 1 p.m. ET
Moneyline: Vikings -480, Jaguars +390
Spread: Vikings -10
Over/Under: 52 points
Jacksonville travels to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, whose playoff chances are growing smaller by the day.
This is an absolute must-win for the Vikings if they have playoff aspirations, but that didn’t help them in their must-win game vs. Dallas a couple of weeks ago. Even if Minnesota wins this game, they’re only projected to go 8-8 which just won’t be good enough to get them into the show.
Kirk Cousins has been good the past few weeks and with Dalvin Cook healthy, the Vikings should have no issue moving the ball and scoring vs the porous Jacksonville defense.
The question is, can the Jaguars get the ball in the end zone enough to keep this game within single digits?
Jacksonville has shown some chutzpah – They’re 3-1 against the spread over the past month.
James Robinson has been a bright light in what has been a dim season for Jacksonville and nothing about Minnesota’s defense suggests that should change this weekend.
Mike Glennon will once again get the start at QB and while he’s at best, auditioning for a good backup job in the NFL, he’s got a bevy of weapons at his disposal. With Gardner Minshew healthy, Glennon could always be replaced if he proves to be ineffective.
I’m not sure if Jacksonville keeps the game close and loses in the 4th quarter or if the Vikings go out to the early lead and Jacksonville gets some fourth-quarter end zone party time. Regardless of how it happens, we are backing the Jacksonville Jaguars +10.5.

Raiders (6-5) at Jets (0-11), 1 p.m. ET
Moneyline: Raiders -400, Jets +335
Spread: Raiders -8.5
Over/Under: 46.5 points
Analysis for this game won’t be nearly as verbose.
The Raiders were embarrassed last week and despite my reluctance to bet on a west coast team (is Vegas still considered west coast?) traveling east, I’m always happy to bet against the NY Jets who are now 3-8 against the spread and showing no apparent signs of life.
The Jets have been outscored by 170 points this season. They’re losing games by an average of over 15 points. This is historically bad.
Derek Carr is particularly susceptible to a pass rush and the NY Jets do possess a surprisingly decent rush, so here I am telling how we could theoretically lose this. That said, the NY Jets offense has been so inept and the pressure that it puts on their defense is too much to overcome. I wouldn’t be surprised if the NY Jets kept this game close for a while before the Raiders eventually pull away. The Pick: Raiders -8.5.
