COLLEGE BASKETBALL ODDS: DECEMBER 3 CBB LINES
SOUTHERN CAL (3-0) vs. UCONN (2-0), 7:00 p.m.
MONEYLINE: UConn -125, USC +104
SPREAD: UConn -1.5
OVER/UNDER: 137 points
USC and UConn have both entered Bubbleville. The Huskies are doing so after landing a pair of wins against over-matched in-state foes. USC beat Cal Baptist and Montana before handling BYU by 26 in their first game in Bubbleville on Tuesday.
The key to this matchup is going to be USC’s bigs. Evan Mobley for the Trojans is so talented and impacts a game in so many subtle ways. With Akok Akok still recovering from a torn Achilles, the Huskies don’t really have anyone that is going to be able to match up with him athletically. Now, they do have some bruising bigs — specifically Adama Sanogo — and when UConn goes with four guards, it’s going to be hard for the Trojans to match up with if they are sticking to playing both of the Mobley brothers.
My bet here will be on the coaching staffs. Danny Hurley wants his guys to play a certain style. He loads the roster with athletic, perimeter shotmakers and lets them loose. That is going to be tough for USC’s backcourt to deal with as a second game in three days.

WASHINGTON (0-2) at UTAH (0-0), 6:00 p.m.
MONEYLINE: Utah -360, Washington +275
SPREAD: Utah -7.5
OVER/UNDER: 136.5 points
One of the goals of this early season has been to target the teams that are coming out of quarantine and fade, fade, fade. Enter Utah. The Utes were shut down for two weeks, from Nov. 13th-29th, after their head coach, Larry Krystkowiak, tested positive for COVID-19.
Washington has not been good this season — they were absolutely bludgeoned by Baylor and lost to UC-Riverside — but they’ve been practicing and playing games. Utah has not. They’ve been out of quarantine for four days. It’s not possible to be in game shape four days after coming out of quarantine.

NIAGARA (0-0) at SYRACUSE (1-0), 7:00 p.m.
MONEYLINE: Syracuse -3335, Niagara +1300
SPREAD: Syracuse -19
OVER/UNDER: 149 points
Like Utah, Niagara is playing their first game of the season after coming out of a COVID quarantine on Nov. 29. Syracuse is now two weeks removed from their shutdown. The biggest concern here is going to be on the defensive side of the ball for the Orange.
With Bouroma Sidibe out with a torn meniscus, they don’t have a ton in the way of interior defenders. But that shouldn’t matter too much against a team that has had three practices in the last 17 days.

North Carolina A&T (2-2) at THE CITADEL (1-0), 7:00 p.m.
MONEYLINE: North Carolina A&T -127, The Citadel +105
SPREAD: North Carolina A&T -1.5
OVER/UNDER: 162.5
Bet the OVER!!!
The Citadel wants to run, run, run. Their head coach, Duggar Baucom, has ranked in the top ten in tempo every year that he has been a head coach. He’s been a head coach for 15 seasons. Will Jones finished last season ranked in the top ten in tempo. He’s played four games this season. The two that NC A&T played against teams that like to run finished over 80 possessions.
The chances are going to be there. We just have to hope these two bad teams don’t have a brickfest.
