The NFC has a strong top tier, led by the 49ers, Saints, and Cowboys. With contenders like the Seahawks and Vikings, along with the addition of Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski to Tampa Bay, the Bears face an uphill battle just to make the playoffs. Bears Odds: Offensive Player of the Year

It should come as no surprise to see reigning Offensive Player of the Year Patrick Mahomes atop the list of Player of the Year odds. While the award tends to be quarterback-driven, running backs Derrick Henry (+1000) and Christian McCaffrey (+1000) are interesting options, especially the latter given how Carolina utilizes McCaffrey in nearly every phase of the game.

Chicago RB David Montgomery (+6600) has the shortest odds of any Bears player to win the award. Allen Robinson (+15000) and Nick Foles (+25000) also appear on the list of odds to win the award, albeit longshots.

Bears Odds: Defensive Player of the Year

The Bears’ defense boasts arguably the NFL’s best linebacker in Kahlil Mack, who enters the season +1400 to win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, the third shortest odds of the group.

Like Donald and Bosa, Mack is a game-changing difference-maker who every offense will gameplan around. But with the spotlight shining out west, and the NFC North home to some sub-par offensive lines, Mack will still be able to get his.

Shortest Odds: LAR NT Aaron Donald (+700) SF DE Nick Bosa (+1200), CHI LB Khalil Mack (+1400), HOU DE, J.J. Watt (+1400), PIT LB T.J. Watt (+1600), CLE DE Myles Garrett (+2000). Click here for the full list of Defensive Player of the Year odds.

Bears Odds: Comeback Player of the Year

The award’s most noteworthy candidates are Pittsburgh’s’ Ben Roethlisberger (+300) and Washington’s Alex Smith (+300), both making their return having sustained and recovered from serious injuries. But a playoff berth for the Bears could coincide with either Nick Foles (+3300) or Mitchell Trubisky (+5000) winning the award.

After all, the 2019 winner of the award was Titans QB Ryan Tannehill, who began the season as the backup to Marcus Mariota.

Shortest Odds: PIT QB Ben Roethlisberger (+300), WAS QB Alex Smith (+300), NE QB Cam Newton (+400), DET QB Matthew Stafford (+800), HOU DE J.J. Watt (+1000). Click here for the full list of Comeback Player of the Year odds.
