Buccaneers-Giants Betting odds

Despite back-to-back losses, the Buccaneers-Giants betting odds paint Tampa Bay as double-digit home favorites against New York for Week 11 of Monday Night Football. Tom Brady and the Bucs dropped road games to the Saints (36-27) in Week 8 and Washington (29-19) in Week 10 following their bye week. The Buccaneers are just 3-6 against the spread this season, but all three covers came at home as double-digit favorites. The Giants enter Monday night having won two of their last three, including a 23-16 win over the Raiders in Week 10. The Giants have covered the spread in three straight games and are 3-1 against the spread on the road.

The defending champions are home and unsurprisingly big favorites over the G-men. Coming off back to back losses, is the line warranted?

The Bucs return home where they have never scored less than 31 this season. They’re averaging 40.5 points/game at home this season. Wait, what??? Tom Brady and company are averaging OVER 40 points a game at home this season!

The New York Giants defense is ill-equipped to deal with an offense that is this explosive. Per PFF, the Giants defense ranks 20th in overall coverage and 28th in red-zone coverage. Yikes.

This leads me to my favorite bet of the night.

Tom Brady OVER 2.5 TD passes

Brady has surpassed this total in five of nine games this season. At home, against the porous Giants’ secondary, this represents some great value.

As for the game, I’m leaning toward taking the Bucs -10.5 but I’m hesitant because of their recent struggles on their offensive line. For the record, Daniel Jones and the Giants’ offensive line has been even worse.

If Tampa can get past their recent struggles, I could see this game being a complete blowout. Coming off back to back losses and in primetime, I think TB answers the bell.

The most likely outcomes in my opinion?

Tampa wins this one 38-10 (maybe 38-17) or their offense struggles a bit also and they win 27 -17

Regardless, it’s Monday night Football and it’s more fun to have a little action on the game

My picks:

  • Tampa Bay -11
  • Under 49.5
  • Brady OVER 2.5 TD passes
